That's a tough one. It really does vary for every schedule and every day. We'd say it would range from 15 minutes to 45 minutes on average, but there are a few longer ones and quite a few shorter ones. 

Hamamatsu, fortunately, does not have the traffic problem that Tokyo or other major Japanese cities have. While it can be crowded at times, particularly during rush-hour and on weekends, you rarely just sit in traffic.
